obnoxiousness of it. Is there a non-cruel way to tell someone about that? I mean, she's going through life irritating people without meaning to, and it would seem a kindness to tell her "you have the most irritating laugh I've ever heard" if it got her to change it. But then she'd be self-conscious for the rest of her life, so maybe not.
