The tenth season (the first with the beauty queens) was the first to go around the world in a westerley direction - but in the seventh (the first with Rob and Amber), they didn't even go around the world - they went US-South America-Southern Africa-India-Turkey-UK-US
According to wiki, looks like they spend the rest of the race in Russia.
I've missed the last two episodes, but am pulling for the mother-son combination. Parent-child teams never win.
