Today's "Adventures In Canada" story: so we go to Tim Horton's because Jacen needed some chocolate Timbits, and we needed coffees.

We pull up to the drive-thru.

Me: "OK, we need 10 chocolate Timbits, and a medium coffee with skim milk only, and a medium iced coffee with skim milk and sugar, please."
TH Girl: "Ummm.... (long pause) you want sugar in your iced coffee?"
Me: (similar pause) "Uh... yeah."
TH Girl: "But, like, the syrup has lots of sugar in it."
SheFox, next to me, softly: "Syrup? Oh shit, I'm scared."
Me, softly: "When in Rome..."
Me: "OK, no sugar then!"

Against all odds, it was not gross.
