this is crap. we know with 100% certainty that we have an immediate, global and lasting (relative to human existence) effect on our environment.
i think this is the first step to ending the BS involved in this "debate". we are connected to this world.
it may be true that the earth's temperatures are prone to rise rapidly as they are now. it may be true that we cannot do anything to stop it, even if we started decades ago.
but it is a fallacy to suggest that we are not involved. we are not silent observers on this earth. everything we do has an effect, even if our effect is not on a large enough in scale to change or prevent something like global temperature, doesn't mean we aren't directly involved in its increase.
that probably doesnt make sense, but hopefully someone understands what im getting at.
