I'm really not sure how effective it is. It's a mishmash of cookie stuff; I think that if you click through the Amazon.com banner on the shop page,

it should set the cookie, which might then persist through the session and then give ST the referral. But, working in the industry, I know that the cookie stuff can be flakey as hell.
