I agree. His Tony Stark is just so damned likable and you get the vibe there's a lot of RDJ in him.

Iron Man is not a likely blockbluster, and I think his performance carried it.
Which reminds me that Heath Ledger needs to be on the list. His Joker is my favorite individual performance in a blockbluster in over a decade.
