yes I have. And I'll state right here that I'm probably the biggest Trek fan on TT/ST that anyone knows....

and I'm looking forward to this film.
We're not ever going to get another Trek film with the original cast. Doohan and Kelly have passed. The others are getting to that age where they are about done....and Stuart Baird throughly fucked the Next Generation franchise...
With the announcement of Nimoy being in the film, gives me some serious food for thought. He retired the character years ago. In fact he was offered to what amounted a cameo in Generations and passed. He was offered the directors chair for Generations and when he said they need to work on the script Rick Berman said that is was locked and Nimoy walked away. That tells me he won't do a Star Trek project for the sake of doing it.
The fact he came out of retirement to do this script says a lot to me.
