very simple recipe.

take a pound of sea scallops, halve them into approx 24 pieces.
take 12 slices of bacon, cut in half, cooked for about a minute to render the fat.
mix 6 tbsp. brown sugar to 1 tbsp curry powder, (you can adjust to taste).
dredge the bacon slices in the curry/sugar mixture, wrap around each piece of scallop and secure with a toothpick.
broil for about 8 minutes, turning once about halfway through.
voila!
