From the Idaho Statesman:
The morning commute in Ada County has been uneventful so far as roads are mostly wet, but motorists either headed to or coming from Mountain Home should be careful of a snow and ice covered Interstate 84.
Idaho State Police report multiple slide-offs and crashes on eastbound and westbound lanes of I-84 between Boise and Mountain Home.
At 8 a.m., there were lane closures in both eastbound and westbound lanes. A rollover accident at milepost 81 has closed one lane on eastbound I-84, and a jack-knifed semi has closed one lane of westbound I-84 at milepost 74, according to ISP reports.
Eastbound traffic was slowed earlier by a one-vehicle roll over near milepost 71 around 6:30 a.m. That driver was taken to the hospital by paramedics, according to ISP reports. The Elmore-Ada County line is at milepost 72.
High winds are contributing to the problem east of of Boise, according to ISP reports.
