The "raw" batter is supposed to be the consistency of Play-doh. Basically you just stir everything up, let it rest a few minutes, then scoop the

batter out using a tablespoon measuring spoon. If you're going to make cookies a lot, go buy a 4 dollar cookie scoop. It looks like a mini ice cream scoop. Also, remember to dip your spoon/scoop in flour after every 3-4 cookies so they won't stick to the spoon.


If you add more liquid, like an extra egg or some milk or water--your cookies will end up burnt on the edges and bottoms and the middles will be raw.
