Decide my life: I have been trying to convince the building people that my office is too cold.

After repeatedly taking temperature readings in the morning (before the A/C has been pumping Arctic wind straight down my neck all day), they have finally decided to leave this little temperature monitor on my desk to record the temp throughout the day.
Am I a bad person if I accidentally leave the icepack from my cooler next to the monitor? What about if I stick the monitor in the fridge for a couple of hours?

The first should not raise red flags. The second would result in you getting so much extra heat that you'd have to show up in swimwear -- nm
