Thanks for the baking support ST, a little background to all the baking

My mother has been a baking banshee at Christmas for years. She is known far and wide. Normally, there are Christmas cookies leftover until March.

This year, she's been stressed and busy with work. She didn't even turn on the oven until last night, and then only managed one batch before she called it a night, flustered, stressed, and worn out.

So I told her to give me the recipes, and I'd pick up the slack this year.

Overall, it's gone well so far (given, I've been using simple recipes, and haven't made anything from complete scratch yet). But not too bad. It's just....new terms and stuff
