I dealt with that 8-9 years ago when I lived in Tennessee. After 4pm, I would have been faster using a 28.8 modem. Everytime I'd call to complain, they'd just say, "oh, we overbuild the hubs hoping that not everyone signed up with keep it". All of their literature and commercials were lies. Sadly, they were my only choice to for digital cable and internet so I just sucked it up and dealt.
As soon as Mark and I moved in together, I got to experience DirecTV and Qwest DSL. I've never looked back.
