The comet will be around until at least the end of the year and Ronza just arrived early. She'll be around for some time after the new year.

That's why most of the traps and bases aren't available yet, we'll be able to buy them in a few days when she was supposed to arrive and will likely stick around for a couple of weeks.
I forget how long she stuck around last time.
