I wouldn't say unquestionably. You have a trio of RBs, Johnson, Forte and Slaton having very nice years.

If Ryan, at this point wasn't a non-hometown-voter unanimous choice, I'd think less of the guy voting off him.

I disagree. Think the Falcons would be a borderline playoff team without Michael Turner? Having that option helps a rookie QB quite a bit.

The difference is rookie RBs have these kind of years all the time. Whereas, like ML said, successful rookie QBs happen once a decade. -- nm
