(sigh) I've never understood this. I always thought best practice was to keep your network runs separate from your power runs because the B-fields

near the power lines would degrade your data signal. The ethernet-over-power set-ups seem to run counter to this rule.

i think it has to do with the way the units convert the signal that negates this issue -- nm
