I used to play MtG and have since dabbled in Yugioh, Pokemon and Bakugan TCGs. I loved Mark Rosewater's column "Making Magic" on MtG website about the design of the card game mechanics and the game play balance.
Since this is so top secret I won't pry but I am curious what concept you're kicking around.
