once that instinct kicks in, it kicks in good for most pooches. my dogs last about 9 hours every day. the last time we had an accident was a few months ago when Angel had a ROARING bladder infection and we had no idea b/c she wasn't showing any other signs. otherwise it had been years.

and there's great enzyme stuff that cleans it right up.

you may be pleasantly surprised! just get fun toys and stuff to keep them occupied. that's where i've run into trouble - boredom + a little anxiety about being left behind can equal some chewed up stuff around the house. but for the most part, it's just stuff.
