Honestly, it was dumb as hell.
However, I got a lot of amusement immediately after it was over. We had taken Darcy and a friend and they were both chattering about how "scary and freaky" Ring was. Crash and I thought it was mildly entertaining, but mostly stupid. Anyway, I told them I was going to the bathroom, went around the corner--in this totally packed theater lobby--called her cellphone from mine and when she answered I used that fake scratchy voice from the movie, "Seven dayssssss", then hung up. She let out this scream that could be heard all over the theater. I walked up right afterwards and said, "how's it going, y'all ready to leave?" She started to have a total meltdown right there until I couldn't hold it in any longer. I was just dying laughing. The she started beating me with her big knit cap. then I started
