I'm at pre-op now. eyes are dilating. I'm ready for this, but my nerves are the slightest bit on edge, which I figure is normal

It's definitely normal. And you will be able to see when you wake from your nap tomorrow, but they really want you to keep your eyes closed. I think - pmb Jan 4, 13:01 1

Yeah, about 30minutes after the surgery, you'll get a burning in the eyes....go home, sleep for a few hours, you should wake up good as new -- nm - Will Hunting Jan 4, 13:00 2
