I had my surgery at 10am, I slept at 10:30, woke at 2'ish and was pretty well good to go then.

with the inherent "teach your eyes to see again" adjustement period. Missed the surgery day from work and was fine the next day at work.
And I went from 20/850 & 20/900 to 20/25 and 20/35 in 5 minutes.
