The new gymnastics scoring system is also more objective than in the past.

One set of judges add up difficulty points.
Another set of judges deducts for execution errors.
It's pretty cut and dry, but there's a level of judgment to it like anything. Like, did he bend his legs 0.1 deduction worth or 0.2 deduction worth?
