so, because i won and we have only super-basic cable, we couldn't watch the US-Canada hockey game at home last night

so, we headed out to find a local bar with it playing. which made us go to the 'crooked cue', a pool place.
which turned out to be fantastic. nice pool table, nice bar area. we got to sit in fab arm chairs in front of a fireplace, drink beer and watch the game on the giant tv.
i love discovering a new bar, walking distance, that i would probably never have gone to otherwise.
it's almost okay that the US won.
