So basically, if your top ten looks like:
1. Star Trek
2. District 9
3. Inglourious Basterds
4. Up
5. Up in the Air
6. The Road
7. Avatar
8. Gran Torino
9. Hangover
10. Blind Side
Then the votes look like:
10. Star Trek
9. District 9
8. Inglourious Basterds
7. Up
6. Up in the Air
5. The Road
4. Avatar
3. Gran Torino
2. Hangover
1. Blind Side
For a total of 55 votes, if I counted right (there's a formula for that sort of counting ... gauss? :) )
So if 20 people nominate Star Trek as Number One, it will have a total of 200 votes.
