the difference is he doesn't pretend he's doing anything other than mass-market entertainment. and on that level, he's the best at what he does

Avatar didn't have the same emotional resonance for me as Titanic but that was capturing lightning in a bottle with Leo/Kate that only happens once in a generation
but Zoe Saldana is excellent and the film delivers on a thrill-ride level with enough of a story to carry the action
