Okay.....'ethics' conundrum. If you've committed to a temp job that pays $x and starts tomorrow, but a full-time opportunity comes up

interviewing tomorrow ... with job starting Feb 1st...
do you talk to the temp agency, explain the timin issues and see what they counsel?
take the temp job for all of a week or so (especially given you have to miss time on Day 1 to interview?) and leave if you get the permanent job?
Temp job is 2-3 months duration.
Perm job is a perm job.
Temp pays slightly less an hour.

Unless you have a contract guaranteeing you 2 months work, go with the permanent job. -- nm

Say nothing to the temp agency. NOTHING. Go to the interview and take the perm job if it works out. -- nm

Talk to the temp agency, tell them you have an appointment that was already scheduled. They don't need to know it's an interview. -- nm
