Seems to me, if they're serious about Leno moving back to his timeslot, that's too much money to just eat as sunk cost, especially for a 4th place network.

it'll be embarassing as hell for network execs (ie firings) if Conan ends up pummelling Leno in the ratings though. not sure if network honchos will risk that.
