If I am, it's subconscious, but I can't rule it out. I was just miserable through the whole film.

Calling a script as tight and well considered as Serenity predictable didn't help any. Every time I watch that film, I'm impressed by the spy versus spy machinations of it. The entire batch of prequels had a lowest common denominator vibe to them, particularly the last one.
