so you have an offer letter saying this? I wouldn't panic until I have something in writing saying it.

I mean, it could be *totally discouraged* but it can't be unallowed. it can't possibly be.
and really, just take the higher pay, schedule your shit, and if they fire you, be like ha ha. you paid me to train me for four months. now you're firing me over an hour off? pound sand.
but until you have an offer letter, isn't it moot?
