i thought our's was a lost cause too.

but, we've found original passenger manifolds from 1930 showing the names they travelled under, we found birth records showing the person listed as Great Grandmas husband was actually a brother (we knew the marriage certificate was fake, my great aunt tracked that back in the 80s), we figure she just used his info so she had a certificate when she landed here - she was listed as 'widowed' on the ship's manifold.
it's pretty fascinating.
oh, and we found the toronto address they listed as a contact here, so we are tracing the ownership records back to 1900.
i'm amazed at what we might learn,
