This is an HP monitor I got with an HP computer I bought from Costco a few months back.

I only see it with white (or very light) objects on a black (or very dark) background. It sort of echos, always to the right. Example linked below.

Do you think it's a crappy monitor, a crappy video card, or just a setting in need of adjustment somewhere?

Somewhat exaggerated here... I don't really notice unless I'm doing graphic design work at home. (www.dollerhide.com)
