No assumptions made in what I just posted to you.

Orgeron was acting on Kiffin's instructions. He said so in the phone call. As for your comment about calling recruits, 99% of other coaches wouldn't do the same thing. We had a coach recently leave for FSU and Kiffin himself said that while he was told the guy wouldn't recruit UT commitments, he knew that wasn't feasible. The difference was in the mid-term enrollment kids. The understanding in college football is that you don't touch those. It disrupts their lives too much and hurts the prior university too much. What Orgeron did here was a huge no-no and that's not up for debate. The fact that he did it at Kiffin's instruction while Kiffin was in the building is what caused the situation. People want to finger wag at the students for some reason, but there is undeniable causality. Don't ask for more adult behavior from 19-year-olds than the guys in their 30s and 40s.
