Especially when famous individuals die. I'm always on the "let's show some respect for awhile" side as opposed to the "no whitewashing his/her life just because s/he's dead!" rabble.

I can't blame the media so much for repeating Robertson's craziness... given the reaction his quotes have gotten here, they know their audience!
