Mmmm... my laptop's motherboard seems dead

I just left it in sleep mode while I took a breather from work, and now it doesn't power up, grand. Fortunately it's still in warranty...
This damn dell seems to have one or other problem every 3 months though, sigh...
Responses:
unplug it, take out the battery, leave it for about ten minutes, then plug the battery and power back in and try again -- nm

I tried that, and the "push the power button for a couple minutes" trick.
