Part of what annoys me about it is that neither Obama or Bush addressing people actually does anything in this situation (especially if we consider when it was happening over the holidays when people's attentions are elsewhere anyway). Who the crap cares if he addresses us if they're actually working on it? And I would hope they wouldn't go off half cocked without all the info.
