I haven't watched a late night show other than TDS/Colbert in maybe a decade.

It's the celebrity interviews. I think the minor spikes in ratings can often be traced to what guests are on the show. -- nm

My instincts tell me even more so then: It's a dying model. What demographic under 40 cares about celebrity interviews on talk shows.
