Comcast has started streaming shows on their web site to cable subscribers. I doubt there's any kind of NBC-Comcast synergies yet, but maybe NBC just wants to show good will to their new overlords.
There are genuine fears that the NBC-Comcast merger will cripple Hulu and I've already expressed my thoughts about how a content provider can't also own the means of distribution (remember how studios were forced to divest themselves of movie theater chains?)
