AVG can run a scan of all files to look for things already on the disk. Also go to trendmicro and do the online scan. HighjackThis! is a great tool...

to fix some things (startups, services, toolbars, etc.)
the forums that help people get rid of nasty stuff always want you to post the log from a highjackthis scan.
