RC is totally right. Also, has anyone bothered to find out why she's got such an "attitude"?

Evidently management saw something in her to begin with or she wouldn't have been hired. This could be something as simple and common as the other women in the office playing girl games and just being mean. Perhaps she doesn't have the emotional maturity to deal with something like that yet. Or, maybe she's just a bitch. Either way, what's happening right now is patently unfair. I think if he gives her the tools and then mentors her a bit, then that's the right thing to do. If she still doesn't catch on to both the corporate attitude and the work, then it's time for her to go. Not because she's a bad person, but because she's a bad fit for the job.
