This is a parallel to the McCain talking point on earmarks to me...

Sure they could trim CEO excess here or there, but the corporations are so massive it's foolish to think this is their only problem, or taking a private jet is some kind of gotcha that should send them home empty handed...

I don't quite believe the doomsday scenario they are presenting but this whole idea we need to teach a few CEOs a lesson by killing the American auto industry is short sighted to say the least.
