and the 2 main reasons for that are the unions and work standards we have.
Now I don't know if that's totally true, but I'm not sure it's just as simple as they don't know how to run a business cause they are stupid and wasteful.
Their competitors manufacturing elsewhere have huge advantages from a labor stand point that we as consumers gladly pocket savings on. I doubt you could bring those smart foreign auto CEOs to America and see the same results under our rules and regulations.
I'm sure I sound like I'm defending the CEOs, but I would say I'm on the fence on this issue. I just think a lot of what they're saying sounds reasonable and waving the american auto industry off as stupid CEO excess could have huge ramifications on the economy.
