I may be naive, but I believe Leno and think he holds little blame in the whole late nite kerfuffle.

I don't even think NBC is to be blamed for trying Leno at 10. Sure it predictably sucked, but at least they tried something different. They just had no exit strategy, and came up with the worst possible solution at the end of the day.
