I think they think it takes away the shady, since they're being transparent about the shadiness. ;) -

I most sincerely hope they don't try to cram anything through before brown is seated. as much as I can appreciate raw politics, the thought of what that might bring is just so very ugh-y.
remember way back when, er, those very few months ago, when there was talk about working together and listening to the voters? seems more faded than it should for the amount of time that's passed. oy.
