yeah, I tried the points for a bit.

I found it works much better for me to count calories. Usually before I go out for lunch, I look up the restaurants info, and figure out what I can eat before I walk in the door.

It worked great for me before my knee got tore up, so I know it can work for me now, which makes it easier to stay dedicated.
