I disagree. It clearly is affecting his ability to maintain his relationship with his family.

We don't know all the details, but assuming he truly loves his wife and family and that it's important to him, then his need to pursue sex in this way with other women is causing him to engage in risky behavior and is impairing his ability to maintain his primary relationship. If the wife is really just for show and isn't important to him and this is all about money, then he's a soulless bastard, but he's not a sex-addict.
