It's a compulsive behavior. If you're hung up on the word "addiction" that's fine, but it isn't any less of a significant problem.

Not every addiction has to be chemical. In fact there are studies that in sex addicts, sex or porn, stimulates the same area of the brain that is stimulated by physical, chemical addiction. There is a similarity.
