They are severely compromised by the 'need' for the stimulus.

I've not said it's not their fault, but many of these people when they are severely impaired are unable to find the strength to resist.
I'm having a very hard time saying that Tiger Woods, of strong mind and body is mentally weakened enough to succumb to that temptation time and time again when the alternative is "I have willing partners left and right and Elin doesn't know."
I find it far easier to say dude has it all and like to partake than dude has it all and can't resist.
