Thanks, ST ER hotline: So I got my mom to the hospital for her flu fever and phlegmy cough

this morning the fever was really high so there wasn't any argument about going. But she wanted to go to the separate clinic where her primary is. If you get there early you can have any available slots and she didn't want to sit with sick people, of course SHE was the sick person sounding like a washing machine full of rocks and after an hour they sent her...to the ER.

They did the nose probe and culture, even a chest x-ray.

sent her home with a bottle of tylenol and suggested to drink plenty of fluids, (she drinks a liter a day but still was dehydrated) but if it continues please bring her back.

I don't know what she told them, I'm sure she said only a couple days but she skipped the Y since friday and was in her bed since sunday.

RANT: this military hospital is the only medical facility my mom goes to except for an occasional test by an outside vendor, but she gets a shopping bag of medicines, filled out a wallet thing full witht 12. BUT THE ER didn't have or couldn't get a list with a complete list and I had to go home to get everything and half filled a shopping bag including stuff she hasn't taken in 10 years (old San Fran pharm label) but still on her dresser with all the other stuff.
