I have to say, I kind of agree with the decision/law. Although 4 years in prison in that instance seems crazy.

If a cop finds you in a parking lot sleeping in your car and you're drunk, there's nothing saying that you *weren't* driving, or that you'd wake up and drive away still intoxicated. Moral is, don't get in a car if you're drunk unless you have someone who isn't behind the wheel, period.

4 years in prison is way insane in this instance, though. I think people have received lesser sentences for killing someone while DUI.
