to speak concise language becuase they weren't in full belief about the scope of the problem.

Now, 15 years later, people know we got an issue. Concise can work with the right spokesman (him).

The game changed in that 15 years, and both times, the Democrats picked the exact wrong tactic. It's impressive as hell that they're this good at doing that.
